Blown Glass Spheres. A century ago, Asian fishermen used blown glass balls to float their nets. Sometimes they broke free of the nets, travelling thousands of miles to wash up on West Coast beaches. Beachcombers have prized finding the original glass net float which are rarely washed up these days. These glass balls are amazingly strong, surviving the ocean for many decades and thousands of miles. Our floats are similarly robust, blown brand new in our Seattlte art glass studio in an array of colors and patterns. They are attractive in your home or garden, and of course, will gracefully float in a pond, birdbath, or pool. They are available in two sizes: 3.5" medium and 5" large. Sold individually or in sets.
